How long have you been in business?
We formed our construction business in 1991 in Washington State. We originally formed our Idaho business in 3/2005.
What is your primary product or service?
New Construction, Remodels, Additions, Custom Framing, Wood Decks, Cedar Siding, Tongue and Groove Soffit/Ceilings.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Greg started building, from the ground up, with his Dad in 1972 when he was 14. Greg was leading crews at 16. He has spent over 3 decades specializing in custom home framing, remodels, and additions.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have actually built our own homes that we live in, with no subcontractors or employees used for the construction, other than electrical, HVAC and plumbing subs.
We truly are family operated. We ran crews until 2004. However, we realized we could not assure our clients 100%consistent, quality work wih employees, so we bought Proctor Wall Lifts, continued renting Boom Lifts for larger jobs, and, our son works wih us on jobs where an additional person is needed. He grew up on our jobs and enjoys construction.
We have learned our trade in different areas, starting with Alaska in 1972, then Washington State, Arizona and Idaho. Our framing expertise assures our clients the home of their dreams since we are not limited in what we can offer.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently serve 3 areas. We have no plans on expanding.

What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, checks and credit card convienance checks.
Which areas do you service?
We are established in the Seattle/Eastside area, Spokane/Inland Northwest/Coeur d'Alene region and Boise/Treasure Valley. We will work in other areas of Washington and Idaho-call so we can discuss your project.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Greg and Lori Zimmerman are the owner/builder of Building Dreams
What are your hours of operation?
We usually operate Monday-Friday daylight to dusk. We are available 24/7 for emergencies.
